First Holy Communion Preparation

First Holy Communion Parents Meeting:  

Sunday, March 2, 2008 @ 9:00 am in the St. Mary’s Parish Center. 

At least one parent of all First Holy Communion candidates should be in attendance.

 

First Holy Communion  Retreat:

This retreat is for parents and First Holy Communion candidates and is an
important part of the preparation for First Penance.


Please Choose ONE: 

Friday evening, March 28, 2008 from 6 pm to 8 pm in St. Mary's Parish Center. 

        OR

Saturday Morning, April 5, 2008 from 9 am to 11 am in St. Mary's Parish Center. 

 

Preparation Classes:

Tuesday evenings, April 15, 22 & 29, 2008 @ TBD pm in the St. Mary’s Church. 
All First Holy Communion candidates are to attend each session.  Parents are
asked to attend at least one of the extra classes in order to better understand
what will happen on the day of the celebration.

Confirmation Preparation

Confirmation Meeting:  

All parents of students Grade 5 and older who are interested in receiving Confirmation

are to attend an Informational Meeting on Sunday, October 14th at 9 AM in the

Parish Center. Also, the Junior Youth Group will be welcoming new members at this meeting.

 

 Preparation Meetings and Work:  

 

 

Called by Name - Focus on Baptism and the choosing  of a Confirmation name    

             Choose one -   Thursday - Nov. 15th  - 6:30 pm   or   Saturday - Nov. 17th - 9:30 am

             Due - Letter of Commitment,Sponsor Report and Eligibility Form for Sponsor

Presentation of Candidates - Candidate and at least one Parent should be present.

Tuesday of the month - Arrangements for class and baptism must be made in advance.
